Before using any type of electronic game in the classroom, you should review them yourself. I have suggested a list of questions to use below.

Evaluating preschool and primary electronic games
  1. Does it explain the directions out loud?
  2. Does an adult need to help the child read the directions?
  3. Does it require typing or just the mouse?
  4. Does an adult need to help the child play the game?
  5. What skills are being taught?
  6. What happens when the child gets an answer right?
  7. What happens when the child gets an answer wrong?
  8. How long does the game take?
  9. What kinds of graphics are used?
  10. Are there ads on the page?
